A new gathering in Madrid welcomed religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how education can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by Diversity education and dialogue.
